Getting Your Affidavit Notarized

An affidavit is a written statement made under oath. To be notarized, the signer must appear in person before the notary, sign in the notary's presence, and take an oath or affirmation administered by the notary. This act, called a jurat, is what makes the affidavit a sworn statement that courts and agencies will accept.

What to Expect

  • Sworn affidavits and declarations notarized by jurat
  • Signer swears to the contents in the notary's presence
  • Correct certificate attached for legal, financial, and real estate use

Bring the completed affidavit, leaving the signature line unsigned, and a valid photo ID. You will sign in the notary's presence and take the oath out loud, and the notary will complete the jurat certificate.

We Come to You, Across Southern California.

Affidavit Notary is available wherever your signers are across Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino, and Riverside counties. Same-day appointments, seven days a week, from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
